Last Sunday Peter Mills dropped by Wigginton Tennis Club, just to the north of York, to see some of their Finals Day action and catch up with Phil Langley and other committee members.
Wigginton Tennis Club is thriving and always looking at ways to move forward. We help support one of their innovative programmes called ‘Rally Together’ which encourages men to meet up, play some sport and generally chat - all as part of the wider DontManUpSpeakUp initiative.
Sam from YorkMenfullness, the local charity behnid the initiative, was also there and we had a very productive discussion about their current activities and future plans. A really good day, all in all, blest by loads of bright Autumn sunshine and a great mobile pizza caterer on-hand to provide refreshments!
