Ed joined Harrowells as a Partner in 2025, having specialised in private client work for more than 15 years. He graduated from the College of Law in York and qualified as a solicitor two years later, in 2009.
Ed advises clients on estate administration, trust administration, tax and estate planning, will writing and powers of attorney.
Ed enjoys getting to know his clients and they appreciate his personable nature. Ed is experienced in advising his clients on a wide range of issues including complex inheritance tax succession planning. Ed likes to provide a holistic approach to his advice and seeks to work collaboratively with other professional advisers to ensure all aspects of advice are provided for.
Ed is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP) which is the kite-mark qualification for private client solicitors.
